Choose whether every item costs one credit or each product carries its own credit cost
A credit system sets how much of a member’s allowance each item uses. With the items system every item is worth 1 credit, so a member on a 5-item plan can have any 5 items at a time. With the credits system you give each product option a credit cost, so a high-value item uses more of the allowance than a small one. Choose it under Membership.
Supercycle uses the items system by default. Switch to credits when your catalog mixes items of different value and you want members to rent a fair share of it: a dress might cost 3 credits and a pair of earrings 1.Credit costs are set per membership option on each product, and each unit in the cart uses that option’s cost. A member who adds quantity 2 of a variant that costs 2 credits uses 4 credits in total.
