Subscription settings apply to every subscription rental on your store: when billing starts after an order, when it stops, the default billing interval for new pricing groups, and whether customers can pick a start date. Set them under Subscription.

Turn on Start date selector, then Save.

Billing start

Billing start controls when recurring billing begins after a customer places a subscription order:

Billing delay

After the subscription has started, delay billing for skips billing cycles that were already paid for at checkout. It decides when the first recurring charge fires once the subscription has started.
If your storefront price covers the first cycle, set the delay to 1, or customers are billed twice for the same period. The setting is forward-only, so changing it doesn’t update existing subscription contracts and you update the next billing date on every existing subscriber by hand. If you’re unsure how your contracts are set up, contact support from the app first.

Billing end

Billing end controls when and how billing stops:

Billing interval

Default billing interval sets how often customers are billed while a subscription is active, for example every 1 month or every 3 months. It applies to new pricing groups, and each pricing group can override it.

Storefront

Start date selector lets customers pick their subscription start date on the product page. Turn it on for preorders or rentals that start on a future date. To add a note under the field, see Add a disclaimer.
