Open the Resale method
On Products, open the product. In the Methods card, select Resale.

Turn on the method and save
Select Turn on, then Save in the save bar.
Create pricing options
Pricing options set a price per item condition or variant. For example, price items in new condition higher than items in good condition, or give each variant its own price.1

On Products, open the product. In the Methods card, select Resale.

Add an option
Under Options, select Add option.

Fill in the option
Fill in the fields and select Add at the foot of the modal:
- Name. Shown on the selector on the product page and in the line item properties in the cart and at checkout.
- Checkout price. The one-time price the customer pays to own the item.
- Status. Whether customers can select the option. Disabled options don’t appear on the product page.
- Apply to specific variants. Limit the option to some variants, or leave it on all of them.
- Apply to specific item conditions. Limit the option to some conditions, such as new, good, fair, or poor.
- Apply to specific markets. Limit the option to some Shopify markets. See Multi-market pricing.

Save
Select Save in the save bar. Add more options for other conditions or variants the same way.
Resale needs at least one enabled option to work. A product can have up to 31 options.

New items don’t have the Resale method turned on, so they can’t be sold until you turn it on for each of them.

Update their methods
Open the bulk actions menu (•••) and select Update methods.

Tick Resale and save
Tick Resale, then select Save. Repeat for any other pages of items.
