Make Supercycle visible to your customers
For Supercycle to be visible to your customers, you need to activate it in your theme and add app blocks on the relevant pages.
Supercycle is built to work with Shopify Online store 2.0 theme. Online Store 2.0 is a set of features and feature improvements that make themes and theme apps easier to build, more flexible, and easier to maintain.
If your store is not using a 2.0 theme, Supercycle can be added manually; however, we recommend all merchants update to a 2.0 theme.
Customise theme
From your Shopify admin, go to Online store and click Customise on the theme you want to add Supercycle to.
Activate the app embed
On the sidebar, click the App embed icon and click the toggle beside the Supercycle app embed to activate it.
Save your theme changes
Don’t forget to save your changes before leaving the theme customiser.
Add Supercycle app blocks to your theme
Supercycle’s customer-facing functionality is added to your theme as app blocks, allowing you to add rental functionality exactly where you want to use it on your store.
At a minimum, you’ll need to add the Rent buttons app block to your product page and the Cart notice to your cart page.
