Membership Setup guide
The document provides instructions on setting up a membership rental system on Shopify using Supercycle.
This is a long guide! Use the table of contents on the right of this page to navigate between steps.
Your membership plans have usage limits which can be either credit-based or item-based.

If you select an items credit system, every item will be worth one credit.
If you select a credits credit system, you'll need to set the number of credits each item in your catalogue takes from a member's usage limit.

You can find the credit system setting under Apps > Supercycle > Settings > Membership rental > Credit system

For your customers to have a membership on your store, they'll need to subscribe to a membership plan via your plans page. As you begin to learn more about Shopify, you can offer customers complex perks on different membership tiers.
Supercycle allows you to vary the credit limit of a plan as well as the number of rental orders and returns a customer can place in a given time period, which doesn't have to be the same as your billing interval. You can read more about membership plan settings here.
You can create your first plan under Apps > Supercycle > Plans > Add plan

Your Shopify products must be included in Supercycle so that they have the option to be rented. To do this, go to your Shopify Admin Products page, select the products you'd like to rent, and under bulk actions select Include in Supercycle. Click here to read more about managing rental products.
