# Analytics overview

> Where to get the numbers for your circular commerce business, and which source to use

Supercycle is built on Shopify's orders, products, and customers, so your circular commerce data lands in several places. Which one you reach for depends on the question.

Supercycle's own reporting is the analytics dashboards. Shopify Analytics is Shopify's, and it sees every Supercycle order because Supercycle collects money through native Shopify orders.

## Admin pages as live dashboards

A filtered admin table answers an operational question faster than a report does, and the filters live in the URL, so you can bookmark one and come back to it.

## Asking questions in natural language

For a question that doesn't fit a standard report, connect the [Operators MCP](/ai/operators-mcp/overview) to your AI assistant and ask it directly, for example how many items are out across all calendar rentals, which customers have an active subscription and an outstanding balance over \$100, or which subscriptions had a failed billing attempt in the last 7 days. The assistant reads your live data, so it can summarize or compare the results as a report you asked for once.
