We want to keep you at the edge of what's possible with AI, through open integrations and embedded partners that give you a foundation for the workflows and tools you want to build. *** ## What we believe ### AI should meet you where you work Most merchants already have a preferred AI assistant, an internal dashboard, or an automation stack. We don't compete with those tools. We make Supercycle work inside them by exposing our data and actions through open standards. ### Answers should arrive at the point of decision Whether you're configuring a plan, reviewing a trade-in, or assessing a secondhand listing, the moment you need information is when you're looking at the thing itself. We build AI that surfaces the right insight inline, where the decision is made. ### We'd rather partner than pretend Other companies have years of data on secondhand pricing, product authentication, and condition grading. We don't build that from scratch. We embed specialist providers whose intelligence appears inside Supercycle at the point of decision, so you get better answers than we could give alone. You can waterfall providers, or compare and automate across several. *** ## How it works in practice ### Build your own tools on Supercycle If you or your team want custom dashboards, internal tools, or automated workflows on Supercycle data, start with the [Builders MCP](/ai/builders-mcp/overview). Built on the [Model Context Protocol](https://modelcontextprotocol.io), it gives AI coding tools such as Claude, Cursor, and Windsurf structured access to Supercycle's documentation. Describe what you want in plain language, for example a Retool dashboard of cycle performance by SKU, a Lovable app for your warehouse team, or an automation in Make or Zapier, and your AI tool understands Supercycle's data model well enough to build it accurately. See [AI for Building](/ai/building/overview). ### Run your operations from your AI of choice The [Operators MCP](/ai/operators-mcp/overview) connects Supercycle to your preferred AI assistant, whether Claude, ChatGPT, or any MCP-compatible client, so you can work with your live data in a chat. Ask questions, take actions, and automate workflows without leaving your AI chat: * "Show me all cycles that are overdue for return this week." * "What's the average cycle duration for our camera lens listings?" * "Flag all trade-ins received in the last 7 days that haven't been graded." This suits operators who run Supercycle day to day, and teams building lightweight automations without a development cycle. That's why the documentation has AI built in: ask a question where you're reading and get an answer grounded in Supercycle's own documentation. The Builders MCP gives your preferred AI assistant the same documentation. See [AI for Support](/ai/support/overview). ### Enrichment partners Some of the most valuable questions in circular commerce can't be answered from your own data: * Is this product authentic? * What's the current secondhand market value of this item? * Does this condition match the description? Enrichment partners are specialist AI providers with deep data in authentication, secondhand pricing, and condition grading. Their insights appear inside Supercycle at the point where the decision is being made. ### Shopify Sidekick We integrate with [Shopify Sidekick](https://www.shopify.com/sidekick) rather than building our own in-app AI chat. Sidekick already lives inside the Shopify admin, where your team spends most of their time, so Supercycle is a capable part of that experience instead of a separate chat to switch into. See [Shopify Sidekick](/ai/sidekick/shopify-sidekick). *** ## What we're not doing * **Building our own in-app AI chat.** Sidekick and MCP-connected tools do this better. * **Training models on your data.** Enrichment partner insights come from their own specialist datasets, not yours. * **Adding AI features for their own sake.** Every AI surface in Supercycle should make a real decision faster or a real workflow easier. * **Using AI to charge you more.** We share in your success through our revenue share, so we build what makes you successful.
